This A5 hardback, handmade casebound journal/notebook combines traditional bookbinding techniques with traditional Japanese chiyogami paper and Japanese linen. This durable hardback comes with a matching navy blue ribbon and a blue and gold headband, with sage green endpapers.
Cover details: Egg Yolk Yellow Japanese Linen paired with Indigo and Grey Chiyogami Japanese paper. To create a sheet of Chiyogami, each colour is screen printed by hand, most patterns having 4 or 5 colours, some as many as 12. Each sheet must be dried between applications and the next colour registered with fine precision.
Binding: Traditional casebound hand-sewn using kettle stitching and linen tape for structure. Hand-waxed linen thread used throughout.
Paper: 60 pages, 120gsm lined white paper, acid-free.
